When it comes to your solar backup battery, uninterrupted power is crucial. However, occasional hiccups with your battery can occur.

Here are a few common issues you may encounter with your solar backup battery and practical solutions:

No power at all when main breaker is turned off

If no power becomes present within 5 minutes, call customer care.

Some backed up loads do not work when main breaker is turned off

Check backed up panel for any breakers that are off/tripped. Reset any tripped breakers or turn on breakers that may have been off.

(SolarEdge systems) No power when in main breaker is turned off

Check Inverter, Backup Interface, and Battery LED status lights

(Delta systems) No power when in main breaker is turned off

Check Inverter and Battery LED status lights

(Tesla systems) No power when in main breaker is turned off

Check system status in Tesla Homeowner App. Check green status LED on the right side of the Powewall2 or Powerwall+. Check power flow in Homeowner App.

(Enphase systems)  No power when in main breaker is turned off

Check system status in Enphase Homeowner App. Check IQ Battery status LEDs. Check power flow in Homeowner App.
