Configuring your Powerwall to maximize utility bill savings on a "Time of Use" plan with 1:1 net metering
Step 1:
From the home screen open the ‘Settings’ menu.
Step 2:
Select ‘Powerwall’ at the top of the screen.
Step 3:
You can adjust your backup reserve at the top of the screen. 20% is recommended by the manufacturer. For Operational Mode, select ‘Time-Based Control’.
Step 4:
If applicable, click on ‘Utility Rate Plan’ under ‘Time Based Control’. Select your ‘State’ and select your ‘Utility’.
Step 5:
If applicable, select your ‘Rate Plan’.
Step 6:
After selecting your rate plan, tap ‘Done’.
