Sustainable Energy

Definition

Sustainable Energy:

Sustainable energy is energy that is used in the present without compromising the energy needs of future generations. Also called renewable energies.

Sunrun Explains:

Sustainable energies come from the sun, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat – and are consumed with far less negative effects on our environment. When we use up fossil fuels, they will be gone. When we use power from the sun, it will continue to shine. Sustainable energy also creates energy efficiencies, and costs have decreased immensely.  Who knew that cleaning up our planet would create new industries and more jobs? Markets are exploding.
