Breaking Down Off-grid:
Off-grid systems can be used to provide smaller communities with electricity, or those people that prefer to be self-sufficient and not rely on public utilities for their power. As solar and wind technologies become more available and are improved, off-grid power is in greater demand (although not commonly used).
